Ag Partners Brings First Solinftec Solix Robots to Kansas
Apr 10, 2025

Seneca, KS –April 14, 2025 — Ag Partners Cooperative is excited to announce a new partnership with Solinftec, a global leader in digital agriculture, to bring three Solix autonomous robots to Kansas—the first deployment of their kind in the state.
Developed and tested over the past four years, Solix robots represent the cutting edge of agronomic technology. These fully autonomous, solar-powered units are designed to help farmers optimize productivity, reduce environmental impact, and make more informed management decisions.
The Solix robots are capable of:
-
Complete agronomic field analysis
-
Early-stage weed identification and control
-
Up to 95% reduction in herbicide application
-
Reducing soil compaction and overall carbon footprint
-
Improving operational efficiency and potential yields
-
Delivering sustainable, low-impact farming powered by renewable energy
Ag Partners’ decision to introduce this technology stems from a strategic directive from its Board of Directors to seek out and invest in innovative solutions that provide practical, on-the-ground value to farmers. “We’re always looking for ways to help our growers stay ahead of the curve, and bringing this technology to Kansas is a step in that direction,” said Adam Jefferis, Ag Partners VP of Agronomy. “The Solix system aligns with our commitment to innovation and giving our farmers access to tools that improve both efficiency and long-term soil health.”
“This partnership reflects what we believe the future of agriculture looks like—local leadership, smart technology, and sustainability working hand in hand, said Taylor Wetli, Solinftec US Commercial & Business Development Manager. “We’re thrilled to bring Solix to Kansas alongside Ag Partners and support their growers with tools that drive efficiency and impact.”
